Job Description
Data Analyst position at Leidos supporting the Scientific Applications team, focusing on RF data analysis, trend analysis, and customer-facing reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze RF signal data to detect trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Coordinate and manage data analysis efforts to produce clear analytical reports and deliverables aligned with customer needs and mission objectives.
- Develop and apply statistical methods, algorithms, queries, and automated processes to model, integrate, and evaluate complex data sets.
- Compile detailed reports summarizing operational trends and insights, and present findings using strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Enhance existing working aids or create new tools to help customers understand reports and outputs.
- Assist in troubleshooting to identify issues, determine root causes, and support resolution with senior personnel.
- Track and manage tasks to completion, ensuring accountability and timely delivery.
- Review findings and provide mentorship for junior analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of all-source analysis experience, or 8-12 years in lieu of a degree; additional experience, education, or training may be considered.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required) to be considered.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methods, data modeling techniques, and automated or query-based data analysis processes.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate analytical reports and technical deliverables for customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical findings to internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Problem-solving mindset and comfort working in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.
