Job Description

Join a remote contract team focused on improving the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical enterprise supply chain data. This Business Intelligence and Data Quality Analyst role blends Power BI analytics, AI-assisted solution design with Microsoft Copilot, and data governance to deliver measurable operational impact. You will also help teams build sustainable monitoring and remediation practices with minimal oversight.

Work setup: Remote. Contract duration: 2 months. Schedule: 40 hours/week. Pay: USD 43 - 48.50 per hour. Job status: Non-Exempt. Application: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions to show data quality trends, exceptions, and key performance indicators
  • Build AI-assisted solutions using Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, and AI agents to improve data analysis and operational efficiency
  • Analyze data across multiple enterprise systems to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, missing attributes, and process gaps
  • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions to prevent recurring data issues
  • Lead data remediation initiatives and coordinate with stakeholders to complete corrective actions
  • Define data quality metrics, monitoring processes, and governance controls
  • Create and maintain process documentation, business rules, standard operating procedures, and training materials
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable and sustainable solutions
  • Deliver a scalable dashboard and/or AI-based solution for monitoring and improving data quality within the first six months
  • Drive adoption of new processes and tools with minimal oversight

Requirements

  • 4+ years of overall experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role
  • 2–4 years experience with SQL, data modeling, data lakes, or enterprise data platforms
  • 2–4 years experience with ERP, PLM, MRP, or supply chain systems
  • 2–4 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Aras Innovator (OnePDM)
  • Experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and business intelligence solutions
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Copilot, prompt engineering, AI agents, or similar AI technologies to solve business problems and automate processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data quality assessment and root cause analysis
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets across multiple systems
  • Experience leading data quality, governance, remediation, or process improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrated project management skills including stakeholder management, issue resolution, and driving actions to closure
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to independently gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver results with minimal oversight
  • Familiarity with master data management and data governance principles
  • Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain environments
  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred
