Data Analyst
Job Description
Moore is seeking a Data Analyst to support nonprofit clients by turning marketing performance data into practical insights. In this role, you will collect, analyze, and interpret data across channels, helping teams improve strategy through clear reporting, reliable data transformations, and trend-focused analysis.
What you’ll do
- Design and maintain comprehensive reports, dashboards, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and other business tools to inform client strategy.
- Use coding skills to transform data into usable information for Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Deploy automated procedures that support efficient data ingestion and transformation.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and outliers that drive decisions.
- Collaborate with internal team members to build deeper knowledge of clients’ programs and produce more relevant analysis.
- Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Detect errors in data files or reports and take steps to resolve underlying issues.
- Perform other duties as required.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Experience in direct marketing is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Effective communication, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- Familiarity with fundraising metrics, file segmentation techniques, and direct marketing strategy.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python; experience with a Snowflake environment is a plus.
- Fundamental understanding of relational database design and reporting systems.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including strong use of formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
- Experience with statistical analysis concepts including randomized controlled trials, hypothesis testing, summary statistics, regression, and other explanatory and predictive modeling frameworks.
- Experience with direct marketing and attribution across multiple channels, including direct mail, website, digital advertising, email, and direct response TV.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify anomalies, determine root cause, and correct underlying issues.

- Salary: USD 70,000 - 85,000 per year
