Senior Data Analyst
Job Description
OneMagnify is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to build and maintain analytic deliverables that translate data into actionable business insights. This onsite role in Dearborn, MI supports reporting, marketing analytics, and customer and dealer behavior analysis, including dashboards and visualizations for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support analytic deliverables that inform business insights, including sales and performance reporting, campaign and marketing analytics, dealer and customer behavior analysis, and dashboards and visualizations.
- Perform strategic ad hoc analyses to support business strategy and day-to-day decisions, exploring both historical and projected trends in performance, marketing effectiveness, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with business partners to identify analytical needs, understand challenges, and answer critical business questions alongside data and analytics team members.
- Use data wrangling capabilities to query, join, and manipulate large datasets, create calculated variables, and automate data processes.
- Analyze business and marketing program performance using metrics such as response rates, sales lift, incremental revenue, net profit, and customer profiling.
- Develop and support business and sales performance reporting (BPR) to deliver insights that enable strategic decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in customer analytics, customer experience analytics, program effectiveness, and financial reporting.
- Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Qlik, Alteryx, and BigQuery, preferably within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
- Work directly with clients to understand business needs, present findings, and participate in team and stakeholder meetings.
- Create presentation materials, including PowerPoint decks with visualizations and insights for business stakeholders.
- (Preferred) Apply familiarity with the automotive service and parts industry to support targeted analytics initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an analytical role, with proven expertise in data manipulation, quality assurance, statistical analysis, and reporting.
- Strong proficiency with GCP/BigQuery, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik for querying, transforming, visualizing, and presenting complex data sets.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Econometrics, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of at least one core analytics specialty.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on uncovering insights from data.
- Skilled in interpersonal communication, with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate results to customers at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a dynamic environment.
- Strong capability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and alignment to common standards.

- Experience in integrated marketing, digital agency, marketing services, or consulting environments preferred.
