Job Description

Reingold Inc is hiring a Data Analyst to support client reporting and hands-on work related to Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This hybrid role in Alexandria, VA focuses on building client-facing dashboards and recurring reports using Snowflake and SQL, while also contributing to AEP configuration and maintaining privacy and governance standards across systems.

Role focus

  • Develop reporting that helps clients track progress against business goals.
  • Support the connection between AEP data and Snowflake reporting datasets.
  • Apply privacy standards through data labels and governance policies, including consent and access rules.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain client-facing dashboards in Snowflake using team-provided designs, metric definitions, and specifications.
  • Write, test, and maintain SQL for the reporting layer, including queries, views, and transformations in Snowflake; tune for performance as data volumes grow.
  • Maintain Snowflake datasets containing AEP profile, audience, and engagement data by monitoring scheduled refreshes, checking for gaps or late-arriving data, and flagging issues to the team.
  • Assemble recurring and ad hoc client reports by pulling and organizing numbers, building charts and tables, reconciling against source data, and preparing drafts for senior review.
  • Run data quality checks between AEP and Snowflake, investigate discrepancies in counts and metrics, and document findings for the team.
  • Complete assigned AEP configuration tasks to written specifications, including creating and updating datasets and XDM schema fields, building audience segments, and setting up source connections and destinations with senior guidance.
  • Assist with testing and monitoring data flows between AEP and Snowflake to confirm audiences activate as expected and data lands on schedule.
  • Follow engagement privacy standards in every task by applying data usage labels and governance policies, honoring consent and access rules, and minimizing exposure of PII; escalate items that appear out of step.
  • Document queries, views, dashboard logic, and reporting procedures, and keep run books and trackers current for the team and the client.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, marketing technology, or web development.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience querying a cloud data warehouse. Snowflake preferred; experience with BigQuery, Redshift, or another cloud warehouse welcome.
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards, reports, or data visualizations used by non-technical stakeholders, with an instinct for presenting numbers clearly.
  • Attention to detail for reconciling and QA across systems, including catching numbers that do not look right before a client does.
  • Exposure to Adobe Experience Platform or a comparable enterprise customer data platform, with willingness to perform configuration work to standards and specifications set by others.
  • Working knowledge of PII handling and data privacy basics, including consent and access control, and the discipline to follow established standards.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a drive for results that includes asking questions and flagging issues early.
