Job Description
Support data collection, analysis, reporting, and KPI development within CMSD to inform district policy and practice.
Location: Cleveland, OH (onsite) • Salary: USD 61,510 - 86,114 per year • Education: BA/BS
Responsibilities
- Analyze and summarize school and student data to guide policy decisions and classroom practice.
- Assemble data and generate reports in response to internal and external requests.
- Contribute to advanced analytics tasks as needed, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and sample matching.
- Prepare presentations that translate complex analyses for diverse audiences.
- Provide administrative and communications support essential to implementing the REA strategy and plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish standard processes for accessing and examining internal data systems.
Requirements
- BA/BS with experience in data analysis, statistical reporting, or similar data-rich work; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
- Experience using quantitative skills to transform large datasets with statistical tools (R, Stata) and/or database programs (Microsoft SQL Server).
- Experience working with large datasets from multiple source systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) a plus.
- Interest in using and developing quantitative data analysis skills.
- Tenacity, resourcefulness, and the ability to interact effectively with people to obtain information and cooperation.
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to balance multiple priorities, and relentless attention to detail.
- Personal sense of accountability for the success of Cleveland students.
