Job Description

This Data Analyst position supports insurance industry clients through remote, long-term work-from-home assignments. The role focuses on reporting, data preparation for analysis, and assisting internal users with data and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the data warehouse, along with new reports and ad hoc reporting.
  • Partner with user groups to identify reporting issues and enhancements, and document business requirements.
  • Contribute as part of a project team and/or complete independent project work.
  • Compile and prepare data for customer analysis.
  • Compile data results and provide written commentary on industry studies (a plus).
  • Support and train internal users as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a data analysis role within the insurance or financial services industry (required).
  • 25 years of full-time work experience (required).
  • Insurance or financial services industry experience (required).

Tools and Technologies

  • C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS
  • .NET, ASP, JSON, XML
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SSIS
  • Power BI, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics GP, SharePoint
  • Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot

Compensation and Location

Location: Riverside, CA (remote)

Hourly rate: USD 30–45 per hour
