Data Analyst - Insurance
Job Description
This Data Analyst position supports insurance industry clients through remote, long-term work-from-home assignments. The role focuses on reporting, data preparation for analysis, and assisting internal users with data and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the data warehouse, along with new reports and ad hoc reporting.
- Partner with user groups to identify reporting issues and enhancements, and document business requirements.
- Contribute as part of a project team and/or complete independent project work.
- Compile and prepare data for customer analysis.
- Compile data results and provide written commentary on industry studies (a plus).
- Support and train internal users as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a data analysis role within the insurance or financial services industry (required).
- 25 years of full-time work experience (required).
- Insurance or financial services industry experience (required).
Tools and Technologies
- C#, Visual Studio, JavaScript, CSS
- .NET, ASP, JSON, XML
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SSIS
- Power BI, Dynamics CRM, Dynamics GP, SharePoint
- Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot
Compensation and Location
Location: Riverside, CA (remote)
Hourly rate: USD 30–45 per hour
