Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mission stakeholders to gather analytic requirements, define measures, KPIs, and data products.
• Design Power BI datasets, models, and reports using DAX, Power Query, and row‑level security, and publish to Power Platform or Power BI Service.
• Write and optimize SQL across Oracle, PL/SQL, and SQL Server or T‑SQL for extraction, transformation, and aggregation.
• Validate joins, cardinality, and data lineage to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct data quality assessments including profiling, completeness, accuracy checks, duplicate detection, referential integrity, and anomaly detection.
• Apply visualization best practices for layout, color, and accessibility to deliver intuitive self‑service dashboards.
• Document solutions, data dictionaries, and business rules; contribute to reusable patterns and governance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize datasets, manage refresh schedules, gateway configuration, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Proficiency with Power BI including Power Query, M, DAX, semantic model design, and row‑level security.
• Experience delivering data visualizations and dashboards following best practices.
• Experience with data quality assessment including profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
• Ability to translate business questions into metrics and analytic solutions.
• Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Work model

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900 to $141,000 per year (USD).
