Job Description
This mid-level Data Analyst role supports cross-source data analysis, the preparation of documents and reports, and the delivery of data-driven insights to inform government technology decisions for National Cyber Group clients. The position is onsite in Huntsville, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to clarify questions and needs, exploring data-rich environments to pinpoint the information pieces required.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the client's data landscape.
- Advise clients on the meaning of information and its potential to influence government technologies.
- Analyze relevant data from multiple sources to produce documents, reports, summaries, and responses to inquiries.
- Ensure output accuracy and consistent formatting of information.
- Oversee the compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, and retrieval of data.
- Contribute to ad hoc data projects and analyses that yield actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collect data and generate basic reports in response to client inquiries.
- Engage with key internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of client requirements supporting robust analytical solutions.
- Enter required data accurately into databases, documents, and spreadsheets.
- Drive large-scale business and process decisions through data-driven insights.
Requirements
- Proficiency in advanced data querying, including SQL.
- Experience with BI and dashboard tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience with statistical scripting languages such as Python or R.
- Knowledge of data pipelines and warehousing concepts, including ETL/ELT.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Equivalency options: Associate's degree with 8+ years of IT experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of IT experience, or 11+ years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.

Compensation
Salary range: USD 61,900.00 to USD 141,000.00 (annualized USD).

Work Model
