Job Description

Hybrid role in Clearwater, FL supporting analytics that help leadership and cross-functional teams make better decisions. BayCare offers a full-time, exempt position (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) with occasional weekend work, focused on designing, developing, implementing, and supporting reporting and dashboard solutions using SQL.

What you’ll do

You will design and deliver analytics and reporting that align with data decision needs across the organization. Responsibilities include building interactive dashboards by working with multiple databases and systems, transforming and consolidating data, and producing clear, usable representations of insights for stakeholders.

  • Design, develop, implement, and support analytics and reporting to meet business data decision needs.
  • Use business intelligence technology to create interactive dashboards and analyze data for innovative reporting views.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date analytic plans and specifications for analyses.
  • Review report content and consolidate or transform data into interactive dashboards.
  • Work comfortably with large data sets to transform data into dashboards and interpret results to solve complex problems.
  • Write queries and translate data into dashboards, PPT, or reports used to communicate with leadership and cross-functional departments supporting the health plan.

Qualifications

  • Education and experience requirements (choose one pathway):
    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology, or related, plus 2 years of Data Analysis, Database Management, or Computer-related experience.
    • Associate’s degree in Healthcare, Business, Information Technology, or related, plus 4 years of Data Analysis, Database Management, or Computer-related experience.
    • HS Graduate or equivalent GED, plus 7 years of Data Analysis, Database Management, or Computer-related experience.
  • At least 1 year of SQL experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting using data analyst experience.
  • Experience with data warehouses, business analytics platforms, and database platforms.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and independently.
