Job Description
Edelman Intelligence is building Big Data, machine learning, and AI capabilities to power Predictive Intelligence for client outcomes. In this hybrid role based in Chicago, IL, you will execute analytics work that supports deliverables, develop approaches and offerings, and help mentor junior team members.
What you’ll do
- Support day-to-day project execution, including client deliverables, status updates, and project management.
- Work with data from disparate sources, preparing datasets for downstream data science activities.
- Apply statistical modeling to support client projects.
- Create client-facing materials, such as PowerPoint slides and charts, to communicate analytics insights effectively.
- Develop standardized code and repeatable processes that can be adopted by the broader team.
- Assist senior staff in the development of client proposals.
Core skills and technologies
- Build ETL pipelines integrating Paid, Owned, Earned, Social, and Survey data using Python, Pandas, and Azure Data Factory.
- Use predictive modeling techniques including XGBoost, Random Forest, and ensemble algorithms.
- Perform cluster analysis for audience or brand segmentation using K-means and hierarchical methods.
- Work with Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Use cloud data lake environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Collaborate using GitHub and GitLab.
- Use project and documentation tooling including Jira, Asana, and Confluence.
Compensation and qualifications
Salary: USD 139,818 - 144,818 per year.
- Minimum experience: 5 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in one of the listed fields, plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered as a Data Science Analyst, Marketing Analyst, Data Engineer, or a related occupation where the required experience was gained.
