Job Description

Adobe is hiring a hands-on Data Scientist to help lead web analytics and measurement for Adobe Firefly on Adobe.com. In this onsite San Francisco role, you’ll use clickstream and experimentation data to uncover what drives Firefly discovery, adoption, and customer value, then translate your findings into decisions that shape Adobe.com priorities.

What you’ll do

  • Lead web analytics and measurement initiatives for Adobe Firefly on Adobe.com by identifying which web experiences influence discovery, adoption, and customer value.
  • Analyze how customers discover and engage with Firefly on Adobe.com, pinpointing performance drivers, journey friction, and changes that can improve acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
  • Use Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, SQL, and statistical analysis across relevant customer, product, and business data to answer complex questions.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, GTM, and analytics teams to define hypotheses, shape experiments, analyze A/B tests, and convert results into actionable decisions.
  • Define critical metrics, cohorts, success criteria, and measurement approaches, and develop new methods when direct attribution is limited or existing measures are not yet available.
  • Interpret weekly performance, investigate meaningful changes, and respond quickly with analysis that supports Adobe.com priorities related to Firefly.
  • Turn proven analyses and experiments into repeatable frameworks and playbooks by working with analytics engineering and platform teams to improve automation, reporting, and self-service.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in growth analytics, web analytics, experimentation, data science, decision science, or a related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience analyzing customer journeys, conversion funnels, and large clickstream datasets using Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, or a comparable platform.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience using Python, R, or similar tools for statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, with judgment to work through questions and incomplete data even when there is no established solution.
  • Ability to identify key questions, synthesize findings, communicate with senior leaders, and help teams turn analysis into decisions.

Pay range

  • U.S.: $109,000 - $200,700 annually
  • California: $138,600 - $200,700 annually
