Federal Data Analyst
Job Description
Chevo LLC supports mission-driven federal programs across Federal Data Analysis, Communications, Business Intelligence, and Government Mission Support. This hybrid role is based in Arlington, VA, with 1–2 days per week of client engagement at a client site.
You will help leadership teams turn data into actionable insights through reporting dashboards, streamlined data preparation workflows, and clear communication of analysis results. The position includes moderate to low supervision as you contribute to repeatable processes and technology best practices.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and collaboration.
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards for leadership.
- Streamline data cleansing and reporting by validating and updating R scripts and macros to reduce manual effort for data preparation, analysis, and report construction.
- Run data analysis and quality control checks using R scripts, Pivot Tables, and additional automations.
- Analyze data, identify results, interpret conclusions, and communicate findings.
- Create and update documentation for comprehensive survey processes and procedures using tools such as spreadsheets, tables, OneNote, and Visio as required.
- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
- Perform assigned duties with moderate to low supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in a related field.
- US citizenship.
- Experience with business, systems, or data analysis, including data collection or visualizations using Power BI and/or Qualtrics.
- Excellent quantitative skills and ability to interpret data.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting DHS
- Knowledge of project management and/or Agile Scrum principles and applications
- Knowledge and application of Artificial Intelligence
Compensation: USD 70,000 - 110,000 per yearly (subject to change).
Location: Arlington, VA (hybrid), with 1–2 days per week onsite client engagement.
Salary Range: $70K To $110K (subject to change)
