Generative AI Engineer

Brooksource is seeking a Junior AI Engineer to join its Connect organization in Philadelphia, operating in a hybrid work setup. The role centers on hands-on development of agentic AI solutions, infrastructure, and language model applications, suitable for professionals with about one year of AI/ML experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy AI driven applications with a strong emphasis on agentic systems.
• Build and maintain infrastructure to support AI/ML workflows.
• Integrate large language models into scalable, reliable systems.
• Contribute across both software engineering and systems administration domains.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and stakeholders to prototype and deliver solutions.
• Engage in live demos and technical walkthroughs to present work to teams.

Requirements

• Solid software development foundation with exposure to AI/ML concepts.
• Interest or experience in agentic frameworks or autonomous AI systems.
• Familiarity with LLMs and language model integrations.
• Experience building or supporting infrastructure for AI systems.
• Hybrid skill set spanning software engineering and systems administration.
• Python proficiency is preferred.
• Proficiency in Go.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Around one year of professional experience or equivalent hands-on/project work.
• Demonstrated passion for AI through personal projects, GitHub activity, or research.

Compensation
