HR Data Analyst & Reporting
Job Description
The HR Data Analyst & Reporting role partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to analyze workforce data, develop dashboards and reports, and translate insights into actionable talent strategies, leveraging AI-enabled analytics where appropriate; this position is based in White Plains, NY with hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze HR data across systems such as Dayforce, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and engagement tools to identify trends and actionable insights
- Develop dashboards and reports to support workforce planning, turnover analysis, and organizational effectiveness
- Conduct in-depth analyses on attrition, hiring, performance ratings, and compensation outcomes
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to improve reporting efficiency, trend analysis, and insight generation
- Support the development of predictive and forward-looking workforce analytics capabilities
- Build and maintain standardized and ad hoc reports for HR and business leaders
- Design executive dashboards focusing on headcount, diversity, compensation, and hiring metrics
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting outputs
- Evaluate emerging analytics and visualization technologies, including AI-assisted reporting capabilities, to enhance decision-making
- Support workforce planning efforts with data-driven insights such as headcount forecasting and vacancy trends
- Analyze compensation and pay equity trends in partnership with the Compensation team
- Support performance management analytics, including rating distributions and calibration insights
- Maintain data quality standards and collaborate with HRIS to resolve data integrity issues
- Contribute to the development of data definitions, governance frameworks, and reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
- Collaborate with HR leaders in Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, and Talent Acquisition to understand business needs
- Provide data-driven recommendations to improve HR programs and processes
- Support executive reporting and presentations with clear data storytelling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related role
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Pay Range
Salary range: USD 104,000 - 141,000 per year
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Minimum 3–6 years of experience in HR analytics, data analysis, or related role
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools preferred
- Exposure to AI-assisted analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Power BI AI capabilities) preferred
- Familiarity with predictive analytics concepts and workforce modeling is a plus
