EpochGeo is seeking a junior Data Scientist to support national security data projects with analytics, machine learning, and AI tool development.

Perform data analytics, data engineering, and data mining to uncover insights and inform decisions
Build machine learning tools including recommendation engines and lead scoring systems
Conduct statistical analysis and apply data mining techniques to create high-quality prediction systems
Visualize data and produce narrative outputs using Tableau and other graphical applications
Manage, merge, and analyze large, disparate data sources using R, Python, or SQL
Develop AI tools to automate key processes and improve operational efficiency
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies

TS/SCI clearance requirement; hold clearance and hold or be willing to submit for a CI Poly
Ability to work in person in Quantico, VA 22134
Willingness to relocate to Quantico, VA 22134 before starting work
Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly and concisely
Experience with data science languages: Python, SQL, and R
Experience with data visualization tools: Power BI and/or Tableau
Experience with machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics
Ability to work with large data sets and perform analytics
Experience with AI tool development and automation
1-5 years of experience plus a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
