Job Description
PwC's Managed Services unit in Minneapolis invites you to join as an on-site Experienced Associate Data Engineer. This role centers on building data-driven solutions and applying analytics to deliver strategic insights for clients within the Data & Analytics practice, while actively contributing to client engagements. The position offers a salary range of USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year, requires a bachelor’s degree, and demands a minimum of one year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage, spanning data engineering and ETL processes.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to deliver strategic insights and support informed decision-making for clients, including SQL optimization.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support efficient data collection and analysis using DataStage.
- Utilize business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView to produce comprehensive reports and dashboards (DB2, SQL Server).
- Collaborate with team members to gather and analyze data from various sources to identify patterns and trends, leveraging star schemas and dimension modeling.
- Apply data architecture development skills to design and maintain robust database management systems with snowflake modeling.
- Engage in continuous process improvement to enhance data quality and integrity.
- Support client engagement by actively listening and responding to diverse perspectives and needs in regulated environments.
- Participate in developing business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation.
- Adapt to a fast-paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver high-quality work, including job scheduling and UNIX workstreams.
