Job Description

PwC Managed Services is offering an on-site opportunity in Charlotte, NC for an Experienced Associate Data Engineer. This role centers on building data-driven solutions, constructing robust data pipelines, and delivering strategic analytics for clients within the Data & Analytics practice. It emphasizes continuous learning, collaboration, and active contribution to client engagements while expanding technical expertise. The position carries a salary range of USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package to support you and your family.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data driven solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive advantage, covering data engineering and ETL processes.
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to deliver strategic insights that inform client decision making, including SQL optimization.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines to support efficient data collection and analysis, leveraging DataStage.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards, including Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView, while working with DB2 and SQL Server databases.
  • Collaborate with teammates to gather and analyze data from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends using star schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Apply data architecture development skills to design and maintain robust database management systems, including snowflake models.
  • Engage in continuous process improvement to enhance data quality and integrity.
  • Support client engagements by listening to diverse perspectives and needs in regulated environments.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and market development strategies through data analysis and interpretation.
  • Adapt to a fast paced environment and take ownership of tasks to consistently deliver quality work, including job scheduling and UNIX environments.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
