Pricing Data Analyst

O'Reilly Automotive Stores is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to support the Pricing Data Manager by building, expanding, reporting on, and implementing pricing data solutions. This onsite role in Springfield, MO focuses on keeping pricing reporting reliable while also developing new business intelligence tools that help meet departmental and company objectives.

The Pricing Data Analyst partners closely with the Pricing Data Team to conceptualize ad hoc reporting and alerting, improve existing report methodology, and ensure pricing data standards and availability are understood and maintained across relevant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new and manage existing Pricing Department reports.
• Maintain working knowledge of all Pricing business intelligence projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Pricing Data Team to conceptualize and develop ad hoc reports and alerts, and to identify additional reporting opportunities.
• Deliver insight into current report methodology, including opportunities to improve it.
• Maintain working knowledge of data standards and data availability within the scope of the Pricing Department.
• Build and maintain relationships across department personnel to locate potential sources of new and existing data relevant to Pricing functions.
• Work directly with the Pricing Data Team on maintenance, distribution, and creation of business intelligence tools aligned to departmental and company objectives.

Requirements

• Experience with relational databases and report writing.
• Advanced PC skills, including Excel, Access, SQL, and VBA.
