SAP Data Analyst

Eaton seeks a SAP Data Analyst in Santa Ana, CA to analyze data, build dashboards, and support supply chain and inventory processes using SAP and analytics tools to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights that boost operational efficiency and informed decision making
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders
• Analyze inventory and supply chain data to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design data driven solutions for process improvement and cost optimization
• Provide data insights to support daily operations, improving accuracy and timeliness in replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory management
• Document new processes and implement training to sustain improvements
• Identify root causes within supply chain and operations data and recommend corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement by leveraging data to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies
• Monitor KPIs and assess progress toward targets, offering recommendations for optimization
• Participate in materials related projects, applying data analytics to optimize inventory, product flow, and resource utilization
• Other duties as assigned
• Limited travel may be required, up to 10%

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of three years in manufacturing, supply chain, or production experience
• Minimum of one year SAP experience in a manufacturing plant

What you’ll do

• Support daily operational activities by providing data insights that enhance accuracy and timeliness in replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory management
• Document new processes and incorporate systematic training to ensure sustainable improvements
• Analyze supply chain and operational data to identify root causes of issues and recommend corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data to streamline processes and eliminate inefficiencies
• Monitor KPIs and self-assess progress toward targets, providing recommendations for improvement
• Participate in materials related projects as assigned, applying data analytics to optimize inventory, product flow, and resource utilization
• Other duties as assigned
• Limited travel may be required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with three years in manufacturing, supply chain, or production
• At least one year of SAP experience in a manufacturing environment

YOU WILL SET YOURSELF APART BY DEMONSTRATING

• Three or more years of SAP experience in a manufacturing plant
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
• General knowledge of ERP and procurement processes
• Lean manufacturing experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, including advanced Excel capabilities
