Senior Compensation Systems and Data Analyst
Job Description
Based in Louisville, KY with remote work flexibility, the Senior Compensation Systems and Data Analyst at ScionHealth Corporate Support Center manages compensation systems, job-architecture data, market pricing infrastructure, and related analytics to support decision-making across the employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the configuration, governance, and day-to-day operation of compensation systems, including workflows, user access, and supporting procedures.
- Supports the management of market pricing platforms, handling survey imports, pricing updates, survey matching, and maintenance of pricing files.
- Conducts audits, reconciliations, and validation of compensation, job-related, and employee data across multiple systems and reports.
- Maintains core job architecture attributes such as job codes, SOC codes, FLSA status, job family, sub-category, geographic differentials, and eligibility indicators.
- Identifies data quality issues, investigates root causes, recommends corrective actions, and supports ongoing improvements in data governance.
- Develops, maintains, and refreshes recurring compensation reports, dashboards, lookup tools, and data models.
- Converts complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for a range of stakeholder audiences.
- Delivers deep-dive analyses and actionable insights that inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Provides analytical support across compensation and broader people-related topics such as hiring, retention, engagement, and internal mobility.
- Translates complex data into concise findings, practical recommendations, and decision-support materials for diverse audiences.
- Documents processes, supports standardization, and contributes to operational efficiency and audit readiness.
- Develops materials and deliverables to assist business owners in understanding and executing compensation processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, validation, and process consistency.
- Ability to identify trends, issues, and opportunities within data and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ability to communicate technical or analytical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners.
- Process-oriented with a focus on documentation, control, and continuous improvement.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; Power Query experience preferred.
- Experience with reporting, dashboard, or analytical tools such as Python or similar preferred.
- Experience with HRIS and compensation systems preferred.
