Senior Data Analyst

Guidehouse is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to support customers within the CISA mission. This hybrid role in McLean, VA focuses on collecting, transforming, integrating, and analyzing data to spot trends, evaluate performance, and produce decision-ready visualizations. You will also help catalog, monitor, and safeguard High Value Assets (HVAs), combining analytics, cybersecurity context, and risk-focused thinking to support leadership decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Collect, integrate, and analyze complex datasets to uncover actionable insights aligned to mission objectives.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative risk assessments centered on threats, vulnerabilities, and potential impacts to HVAs.
• Use analytics capabilities to develop dashboards, key risk indicators (KRIs), and trend analyses for leadership decision-making.
• Build intuitive, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards (for example, using Power BI) that work for audiences with varied technical backgrounds.
• Define data requirements and ensure data is stored properly, remains accessible, and supports client needs.
• Create and maintain data governance documentation, tools, and templates.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to gather, understand, and refine requirements.
• Identify and document data quality and fidelity issues, then recommend remediation options.
• Create and maintain tools, resources, and reports to support data requests and ongoing analysis.
• Work effectively in a hybrid environment, including on-site client work, Guidehouse offices, and remote settings.

What You’ll Bring

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (or higher) security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 12+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, data visualization, data integration, or database management or 10+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Experience ensuring data accuracy and usability through data quality management and integration, using tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience building data visualizations and dashboards with Power BI.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of federal or enterprise HVA requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of relational database design and structures.
• Hands-on data wrangling and analysis experience in R or Python.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
