Job Description

Join Nestlé Health Science’s Consumer Insights and Analytics team to build and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that support business outcomes across Marketing and Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data science solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and support Consumer Insights & Analytics priorities
  • Work with large, complex datasets to uncover patterns, build statistical and machine learning models, and address business problems using big data tools such as Databricks, Azure ML, and Apache Spark
  • Deliver structured data storytelling through strong data visualization to drive impactful decisions
  • Design deep learning and natural language processing (NLP) models to analyze complex information across business processes
  • Continuously monitor deployed models, evaluate performance, and refine models to maintain accuracy and relevance over time
  • Research, test, and evaluate AI technologies to identify the best tools and platforms for business objectives
  • Incorporate data science innovations into product solutions to improve data, analytical, and automation capabilities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide expertise across omnichannel analytical projects and keep work aligned to business goals
  • Build, maintain, and enhance analytics tools to increase capability and speed to value

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Statistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or Applied Scientist, focused on computer vision, natural language processing, or data synthesis
  • Experience developing and deploying advanced analytical models and algorithms
  • Practical machine learning experience, including Regression, Clustering, Probability Networks, AI, and Deep Learning
  • Hands-on programming experience in Python and R, using advanced cognitive and machine learning methods to solve business challenges
  • Experience with relational databases and cloud technologies including Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure ML, AMC, and BigQuery
  • Experience transforming raw data into meaningful features for machine learning models
  • Expertise working with missing data, scaling, encoding categorical variables, and dimensionality reduction techniques
  • Hands-on experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and other experimental methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with causal inference to measure impact of business decisions
  • Experience visualizing and presenting data-driven insights using Power BI and Tableau
  • Experience building recommendation engines for sales, customer targeting, or supply chain optimization use cases
  • Experience building and implementing optimization models to improve decision-making
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping in data science projects
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard tools and methodologies for model training, statistical analysis, and machine learning deployment
  • Experience with CPG and ecommerce datasets, including retail analytics and advertising data, is a plus
  • Experience with AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) and Amazon advertising and sales data will receive priority consideration

Compensation

  • USD 130,000 - 160,000 per year
  • Final compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location
