Senior Data Scientist

Reithorp Solutions LLC is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for upcoming and contingent work in Springfield, VA. This is an in-person role, designed for candidates who can contribute quickly on mission-focused data and analytics tasks. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, with CI Poly desired and willingness to obtain CI Poly before starting if needed.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI/ML and NLP approaches to support analytics and data-driven insights
• Perform quantitative analysis, build visualizations, and process complex data to inform decision-making
• Work with and integrate multiple data and file types (including geospatial file formats and formats such as JSON and XML)
• Develop data pipelines and workflows using Python (and other languages as applicable) for data cleaning and manipulation
• Use analytic techniques such as classification, regression, clustering, data reduction, and causal modeling as part of applied modeling efforts
• Support enterprise analytic modernization efforts such as SOM, Computer Vision, automated collection, or automated reporting, including data standardization best practices (desired)

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree or higher and 7+ years of experience for the Senior level
• AI/ML and data systems experience
• Experience working with multiple file types, including geospatial file formats, JSON, and XML
• 3+ years conducting quantitative analysis, developing visualizations, and processing complex data to create data-driven insights
• Development experience in Python and other languages for data cleaning and manipulation
• TS/SCI clearance required; CI Poly desired (willingness to take CI Poly before starting if not already held)

Preferred

• Experience applying NLP algorithms to extract data from documents
• Demonstrated expertise in math, statistics, and quantitative analysis
• Experience with enterprise NGA analytic modernization efforts such as SOM, Computer Vision, automated collection, or automated reporting, plus data standardization best practices
