Job Description
Senior Data Engineer opportunity in Charlotte, NC (onsite) to help build a modern cloud data platform with Snowflake, dbt, and Python on AWS, implementing Data Vault 2.0 models, automated pipelines, and data quality/CI/CD frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy a scalable cloud data platform from scratch
- Design and implement Data Vault 2.0 data models
- Develop automated data pipelines end-to-end
- Establish data quality controls and CI/CD frameworks
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- Significant experience as a data engineer with cloud data platforms
- Hands-on expertise with Snowflake
- Extensive experience with dbt (cloud and/or core)
- Proficient Python development
- Strong background with AWS
- Experience implementing Data Vault 2.0
