Responsibilities
- Receive and analyze information from multiple sources, then organize it for case use.
- Verify the completeness of received data and resolve inconsistencies.
- Enter required information accurately into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
- Establish and maintain physical files for case management.
- Track case file status to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate requests for additional information as needed.
- Extract relevant information to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and inquiries with proper formatting and accuracy.
- Perform word processing related to case work.
- Provide accurate and timely status updates.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Ability to understand the organization and functions of the customer.
- Meticulous data entry skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Competence to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and follow directions.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software applications, including databases; intermediate skills preferred.
- Proven commitment to excellent customer service with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional demeanor.
- U.S. Citizenship required with a seven (or ten) year minimum background investigation.
