Commercial Data Analyst

In Boston, SGF Global is seeking a Commercial Data Analyst to support the Aesthetics Business Unit. This role acts as a bridge between business needs and IT capabilities, focusing on data quality, data architecture, and the deployment of data-driven solutions.

This is a contract position with an hourly rate of USD 44, onsite requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between IT and business units, gathering and documenting business requirements for diverse teams.
• Collaborate with vendors or implementation teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Assess current IT infrastructure and business processes to boost efficiency and ensure data accuracy.
• Lead implementation teams for software enhancements and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Implement automated dashboards and reports using SQL, Power BI, and Tableau for stakeholders.
• Partner with Operations teams to provide data-driven recommendations that improve product adoption.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data modeling, ideally in dermatology or pharmaceutical settings.
• Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of cloud based data warehouses such as Databricks and Snowflake, with Lakehouse Architecture concepts.
• Strong knowledge of master data management processes and experience with Agile methodologies.
