Job Description

Based in Alexandria, VA, the Cyber Data Analyst role at Booz Allen Hamilton concentrates on analyzing DoW cyber policies, evaluating policy coverage and risk, and contributing to strategic cyber roadmaps through data-driven insights and Power BI dashboards.

Compensation

Salary: USD 55,200 - 126,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Support evaluation of the DoW CIO's cyber policy framework, including coverage gaps and risk areas.
  • Assess policy alignment with applicable regulations, best practices, and industry standards.
  • Help the client interpret acceptable risk levels and system availability considerations.
  • Contribute to the creation of a strategic cyber roadmap for the organization.
  • Collaborate with the client to enable secure operations amid an evolving IT landscape.
  • Support efforts to safeguard the client's IT enterprise through strategic cyber policy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in data analysis, cybersecurity, or IT.
  • Proven experience with data and metrics analysis.
  • Proficiency with Power BI for building dashboards, performing data analyses, and deriving insights from cybersecurity datasets.
  • Familiarity with the DoW and its components.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of threat monitoring and user activity analytics practices and applications.
  • Ability to translate technical, intelligence, or cybersecurity information into enterprise reports and strategic documents.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree, or 14+ years of cybersecurity/IT experience in lieu of a degree.

Work Model
