Job Description

Sharebot is hiring a Data Analyst in Newark, NJ (onsite) to support data-driven decision-making through analysis, reporting, and stakeholder-ready insights.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to surface trends and actionable insights
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs
  • Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Run ad-hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives
  • Verify data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across datasets
  • Support data-driven decisions across departments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Motivation to learn and grow in a data-driven environment
  • Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R preferred)
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI (or similar)
  • Ability to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with large datasets and databases
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
