Job Description
The Data Analyst role at US Federal Solutions supports the connection and management of internal and external data sources for data warehouse workflows, including dashboard delivery for critical KPIs. The position is onsite in Washington, DC and focuses on data synchronization, data quality, documentation, and maintaining the project data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify internal and external databases to connect across multiple data warehouse tools.
- Connect datasets primarily using APIs, Power Apps, or bots.
- Maintain data syncs, including ensuring synchronization quality and ongoing data quality metrics.
- Develop dashboards that display critical KPIs.
- Document and implement changes related to data systems and project updates.
- Work with external database administrators and the data warehouse support team to keep databases synchronized.
- Structure large datasets to identify usable information (mapping) and produce meaningful insight by joining multiple, disparate datasets.
- Design, develop, and modify data infrastructure to accelerate data analysis and reporting processes.
- Maintain data management plans and instructions for operating complex business systems.
- Evaluate database change designs, selection, and implementation by comparing them to business requirements and design documents.
- Map and join siloed, disparate datasets using Palantir Foundry (pipelines), Advana, and Power BI DAX.
- Update the project data architecture/model as needed.
- Construct Power Automate flows to support data operations.
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data, including establishing KPIs to measure decision effectiveness.
- Develop Power BI Dashboards to present analysis outputs.
- Apply soft skills to work with analysts in an ad-hoc information processing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active and adjudicated Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience working with large amounts of data.
- Experience building AI agents and using AI to produce outcomes.
- Knowledge of data management and reporting/data visualization technologies, including Power BI, Databricks, and Palantir Products.
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
