Data Analyst
Job Description
RADcube is building a pharma-focused data team and is hiring a Data Analyst to help translate large, complex datasets into clear, actionable insight. In this hybrid role based in Indianapolis, IN, you will work across cloud and big data platforms to support business stakeholders with analysis, reporting, and recommendations.
You will analyze data stored in modern environments, validate data quality, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. The work also includes partnering with business groups to define requirements and applying pharma domain context so outputs stay aligned with real business needs.
What you’ll do
- Analyze large datasets in Databricks and AWS to answer business questions and support decision-making
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations for pharma business stakeholders
- Partner with business groups to gather requirements, clarify data needs, and translate them into analysis deliverables
- Write and optimize SQL queries for large-scale (Big Data) datasets, including data processed through Spark pipelines
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting outputs
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Use pharma domain knowledge to contextualize analysis and ensure relevance to business needs
- Collaborate with data engineers to flag data gaps or pipeline issues affecting analysis
What you’ll need
- 3–5 years of data analysis / business intelligence experience specifically within the pharma industry
- Working knowledge of Databricks for querying and analysis
- Familiarity with AWS data services in an analytics context, such as S3, Redshift, and Glue
- Comfort working with Big Data and datasets processed through Apache Spark
- Strong SQL skills; experience with Python for data analysis is a plus
- Ability to understand pharma business needs and communicate with pharma business groups
- Strong communication skills, including presenting data to business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related) or equivalent practical experience
