Data Analyst

Cummings Electrical is hiring a Data Analyst to support the Business Improvement Solutions (BIS) Team in Fort Worth, TX.

Responsibilities

• Partner with departments across the company to understand business needs
• Analyze information to support reporting and improvement efforts
• Develop dashboards and reporting for business stakeholders
• Identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and actionable insights
• Own assigned analytics work from intake through completion
• Help make company data easier to understand, trust, and use

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered
• Typically 2–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field
• Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or a similar tool
• Working knowledge of SQL and experience working with data from multiple sources
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to clean, organize, validate, and analyze data
• Ability to identify trends and translate data into meaningful business insights
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work
• Ability to communicate data and findings clearly to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow work through completion
