Data Analyst, Senior

Based in Hurlburt Field, FL (onsite), Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Senior Data Analyst to analyze structured and unstructured data, build dashboards and reports, and deliver data driven insights to support decision making and mission readiness.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate and preprocess diverse data sources, perform transformations, and analyze large datasets to detect trends and inform decisions.
• Create and sustain dashboards and visual reports with Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit reporting needs and design accessible reports and visuals.
• Author SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from enterprise systems.
• Develop Excel based queries and scripts to access and analyze data from legacy sources.
• Produce scheduled and ad hoc reports for operations and leadership audiences.
• Assist in shaping data models and workflows to improve reporting efficiency.
• Perform data quality validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.
• Document data sources, processes, and report specifications to support continuity and audits.
• Coordinate with IT and database administrators to troubleshoot data access and integration challenges.
• Provide analytics support for strategic initiatives, operational planning, and mission readiness assessments.
• Adhere to client data governance, classification, and cybersecurity standards.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non technical audiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science
• 3+ years designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining data applications for reporting and analytics at enterprise scale
• Experience modeling, transforming, and visualizing data with Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Access
• Experience crafting queries to extract and analyze data
• Familiarity with an object oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or C++
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or mathematics

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance is required; applicants will undergo a security investigation to determine eligibility for access to classified information.

Compensation

Salary range: USD 77,500 to 176,000 per year. Compensation is influenced by location, education, experience, and contract-specific factors.
