Job Description
Lockheed Martin's Greenville Quality Engineering team is seeking a senior data analyst or data scientist to design, deploy, and maintain data-driven solutions that support production and sustainment operations. The role emphasizes applying advanced analytics to solve complex operational challenges and improve efficiency, with direct oversight of Tableau deployments within the quality function. This onsite, Greenville-based position requires hands-on data work and close collaboration with engineering teams to drive productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain data-based solutions tailored for production and sustainment operations.
- Apply advanced data techniques to tackle complex operational challenges, delivering tangible improvements in efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the development and deployment of Tableau or other data tools within the quality team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep (dashboard creation, data source integration)
- SQL for querying relational databases
- Familiarity with quality data (IDV, SFM)
- Strong communication skills with a track record of presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences and producing clear documentation (data flow diagrams, process maps)
- Creative problem solving and the ability to think innovatively
- Ability to integrate and prompt AI for coding tasks
- U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain government security clearance
