Data Analyst, Sustainment 5th Gen MUO - Level 2
Job Description
The Data Analyst, Sustainment 5th Gen MUO (Level 2) supports data-driven decision making at Lockheed Martin by analyzing data, building queries, and creating Tableau dashboards, while applying machine learning techniques to inform strategic choices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot data connections
- Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards
- Generate ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the organization
- Collect and derive customer requirements
- Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that inform decisions
- Authenticate users for network access and tool utilization
- Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights and identify trends that support better decision making
- Develop and maintain database queries using Python and VBA
- Deepen understanding of machine learning algorithms to design and implement predictive analytics and pattern recognition models
- Communicate findings effectively through visualizations, particularly Tableau dashboards
- Commit to continuous learning by staying current with emerging tools, methodologies, and research
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, Information Management, Finance, Business, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline
- Must be a US citizen and eligible for a government security clearance (Secret)

- Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework. The employee selected for this position will work part of their schedule remotely and part of their schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
- Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week to condensed schedules that provide more time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
- Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
