Data Analyst, Sustainment 5th Gen MUO - Level 2

The Data Analyst, Sustainment 5th Gen MUO (Level 2) supports data-driven decision making at Lockheed Martin by analyzing data, building queries, and creating Tableau dashboards, while applying machine learning techniques to inform strategic choices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot data connections
• Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards
• Generate ad hoc reports for stakeholders across the organization
• Collect and derive customer requirements
• Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that inform decisions
• Authenticate users for network access and tool utilization
• Analyze complex data sets to extract actionable insights and identify trends that support better decision making
• Develop and maintain database queries using Python and VBA
• Deepen understanding of machine learning algorithms to design and implement predictive analytics and pattern recognition models
• Communicate findings effectively through visualizations, particularly Tableau dashboards
• Commit to continuous learning by staying current with emerging tools, methodologies, and research

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data Science, Information Management, Finance, Business, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline
• Must be a US citizen and eligible for a government security clearance (Secret)

• Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week to condensed schedules that provide more time away from the office, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
• Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
