Job Description

This hybrid data analyst role supports the TeleHealth Analytics team, delivering analytics and data storytelling across eighty virtual care service lines to bolster patient care, operations, and organizational strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary analytical support to senior leadership within a defined system, regional business, or clinical area.
  • Regularly engage with leadership to share progress, establish project priorities, and set deliverable timelines.
  • Partner with Healthcare Data Advisors and Data Architects to maintain data integrity and accuracy for the supported areas.
  • Receive stakeholder requests and produce meaningful insights through data exploration, interpretation, reporting, and visual storytelling.
  • Communicate analytic findings and recommendations to both technical teams and business executives.
  • Schedule and deliver analytic demonstrations and hands-on training to promote understanding and independent use of analytic work.
  • Pursue ongoing skill development through self-directed learning and participation in the Intermountain analytic community educational offerings.

Requirements

  • Intermediate skills in SQL and database tasks, with capability in SQL and database design.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools.
  • Strong command of office applications for daily tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, with experience presenting data insights to peers.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data through relevant projects; healthcare data expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies, and the ability to apply them to data analytics projects to ensure alignment with business goals and efficient execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields (statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics) with two years of relevant experience performing statistical data analysis; or a Bachelor's degree in another field with four years of relevant data analysis experience; consideration given to candidates without a related degree if the skill set and experience are robust.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position with regular on-site presence required for trainings and meetings. Schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Location

Valley Center Tower, Murray, Utah. Hybrid work setup with on-site requirements for trainings and meetings.

Work Schedule

Forty hours per week.

Compensation

Hourly rate range: USD 39.97 to 62.91.

Physical Requirements

Remain seated or standing for extended periods while using a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
