Job Description

Data Warehouse Developer role on the Data & Analytics team, focusing on ELT pipelines and Snowflake for internal analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day operation, maintenance, and enhancement of ELT pipelines and a Snowflake data warehouse
  • Diagnose and resolve pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Design, build, and document new data models and transformations as analytical needs evolve
  • Ensure reliability, consistency, and availability of data for downstream consumers
  • Support and extend API integration workflows built on Boomi and Python
  • Maintain and contribute to custom Python applications developed by the team
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver new data integration projects
  • Contribute to evaluation of modern data tooling options to improve the current architecture
  • Document systems, processes, and decisions to build institutional knowledge over time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or similar subjects (preferred)
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a data engineering role
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts for analytical workloads
  • Practical experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse platform
  • Familiarity with ELT/ETL pipeline concepts and tools and ability to learn new stack components quickly
  • Experience with WhereScape RED, Matillion, Airbyte, dbt, or comparable ELT automation tools
  • Working knowledge of Python for data processing and scripting
  • Experience with API integrations and working with REST-based data sources
  • Methodical troubleshooting approach, including digging into unfamiliar systems to identify root cause
  • Experience with GitHub for version control

  • Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration concepts
  • Experience partnering closely with BI or analytics teams as a technical resource
