Job Description

Oliveda International Inc. is expanding its Waterless Beauty division and seeks a capable Financial Analyst to partner across Finance, Operations, and Leadership. This onsite role in Culver City, CA offers a salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 per year and calls for a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The analyst will own reporting, forecasting, analytics, and internal controls to support growth and drive data-informed decisions across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and continuously document the full Accounts Payable process, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage the AP subledger and perform monthly reconciliations against the General Ledger.
  • Keep an aging payables ledger current and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Develop and sustain an auditable filing system for invoices, purchase orders, and payment records.
  • Assist in implementing Accounts Payable automation solutions.
  • Manage vendor master files with proper documentation and internal controls.
  • Analyze COGS, landed costs, and gross margin by SKU.
  • Support demand planning initiatives.
  • Develop freight and fulfillment cost models to inform procurement decisions.
  • Monitor inventory performance and its financial impact.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance to create and oversee the annual operating budget.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
  • Lead monthly forecast updates and conduct budget variance analysis.
  • Build and maintain a rolling cash flow forecast.
  • Establish a single source of truth for key business metrics using Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Develop weekly and monthly KPI reporting.
  • Create dashboards tracking Revenue, Gross Margin, CAC, LTV, and ROAS.
  • Deliver financial analyses supporting pricing, promotions, bundling strategies, and commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain sales tax nexus tracking across multiple states and reconcile tax data from Shopify and other platforms.
  • Prepare sales tax filing schedules and coordinate with external accounting partners; reconcile collected versus remitted taxes and maintain exemption certificates.
  • Monitor regulatory changes affecting sales tax compliance and support audits while evaluating automation tools like TaxJar.
  • Support the monthly close through reconciliations and reporting.
  • Partner with Accounting, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership on financial initiatives.
  • Maintain financial models and reporting templates; prepare executive reporting materials and board presentations.
  • Serve as a resource for finance process improvements across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Financial Analytics.
  • Experience in high-growth consumer brands, retail, beauty, CPG, or eCommerce environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong grounding in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and financial controls.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets skills with the ability to build scalable financial models.
  • Power BI or other visualization tools experience is a plus.
  • Shopify experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of inventory accounting, supply chain finance, and gross margin analysis.
  • Familiarity with sales tax compliance across multiple states is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with limited oversight while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
