Job Description

A single sentence context: The NFL seeks a Manager, Strategy, Data & Analytics for Club Business Development to drive club benchmarking, revenue strategy across ticketing, premium seating, sponsorship and media, and data driven modeling for League tentpole events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead creation and delivery of club benchmarking reports covering ticketing, premium seating and suites, and local sponsorship and media, ensuring outputs are precise, actionable, and easy for stakeholders to digest and implement.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance ticket revenue models to inform League event strategy (including Super Bowl, International Games, Pro Bowl Games) with demand forecasting, pricing, and revenue optimization analyses.
  • Design and refine Excel based tools and data collection frameworks to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency across Club BD workflows.
  • Analyze club and League data (ticket sales, pricing, premium, sponsorship) to identify trends, performance gaps, and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Club Consulting team to translate analysis into practical recommendations that drive local business performance.
  • Support pricing and sales strategy workstreams for tentpole events through detailed quantitative analysis.
  • Streamline existing reporting processes and models to reduce manual effort, improve data integrity, and accelerate turnaround time.
  • Assist in preparing materials for club workshops, League meetings, and market engagements.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal partners (Club Finance, Marketing, Data & Analytics) to align inputs, assumptions, and outputs across initiatives.
  • Build and maintain organized, well documented datasets and models to serve as a reliable source of truth for the broader team.
  • Support the broader Club BD team on ad hoc projects, including League tentpole event execution.

Requirements

  • Technical: Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel with complex financial modeling, data structuring, and building scalable tools; strong PowerPoint skills for executive ready communications; curiosity about how AI tools like Microsoft Copilot can drive efficiencies; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Analytics & Modeling: Solid foundation in financial analysis, revenue modeling, and forecasting; ability to translate business questions into structured analytical modeling approaches; meticulous attention to accuracy, assumptions, and outputs.
  • Communication: Clear ability to convey insights and recommendations to both technical and non technical audiences; comfortable presenting to groups.
  • Professional Competencies and Work Ethic: Highly collaborative and results driven; strong communication skills; capable of multitasking with excellent time management and organization; self starter, independent, creative, and critical thinker with ambition and attention to detail; committed to ethical business interactions.
  • Education and Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, management consulting, or strategy and analytics; Bachelor’s degree required in fields such as Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or other quantitative disciplines.
