Real Estate Acquisitions Data Analyst

Murex Management is hiring an Acquisitions Data Analyst to support its Fort Myers, Florida acquisitions team. In this onsite role, you will gather and organize property and market information, build models and reporting tools, and help inform real estate investment decisions.

You will focus on accurate acquisition pipeline tracking, analysis of opportunities, and ongoing insights into trends that may affect acquisition strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze potential acquisition opportunities using property, financial, market, and comparable-sales data.
• Research and evaluate properties, neighborhoods, markets, and investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain acquisition spreadsheets, databases, financial models, and reporting tools.
• Analyze purchase prices, projected returns, operating expenses, rental income, renovation costs, and related assumptions.
• Review property-level data to identify discrepancies, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support underwriting and financial analysis for prospective properties.
• Track acquisition pipeline activity and maintain accurate records of leads, offers, contracts, and closed transactions.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports measuring acquisitions activity and results.
• Gather data from public records, MLS, internal systems, market databases, and other relevant sources.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights that may impact acquisition strategy.
• Work closely with acquisitions, underwriting, operations, and leadership teams.
• Improve data collection, reporting, and analytical processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform additional analysis and research as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, real estate, acquisitions, underwriting, or a related area.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, filtering, sorting, and data organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working independently while collaborating closely with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential or commercial real estate acquisitions.
• Experience with real estate underwriting or investment analysis.
• Familiarity with MLS data, public records, property valuation, comparable sales, and real estate market research.
• Experience with CRM systems, real estate databases, or business intelligence tools.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data-analysis tools.
• Understanding of real estate investment metrics such as ROI, cap rate, cash-on-cash return, ARV, IRR, and NOI.

Compensation and Location

• Salary: USD 60,000 per year
