SEM Data Analyst
Job Description
Join the CLEAResult Consulting Inc. Strategic Energy Management team as an SEM Data Analyst in Juneau, AK (onsite). In this role, you will help keep production data clean, consistent, and ready for energy modeling and reporting. The position is primarily internal-facing, with occasional client and end-use customer interaction to gather data or answer questions.
This salary ($52,000.00 - $74,400.00) role includes benefits designed to support your health, time away, and long-term planning, plus access to on-demand training courses to continue building your skills.
What you’ll do
- Perform pre- and post-modeling data review and manipulation to support Statistical Analysts.
- Manipulate and format production data with precision and consistency.
- Analyze large data sets to identify errors and protect accuracy before data moves downstream.
- Integrate data into statistical software templates.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to build and maintain database files.
- Partner with program teams to create and maintain standardized templates for energy modeling and program data.
- Write clear work instructions for newly developed templates so others can use them with ease.
- Track, draft, edit, and conduct quality control on final models and reports.
- Help automate data processing to save time and reduce manual error.
- Troubleshoot, modify, and build tools using Visual Basic and Excel formulas.
- Manage and manipulate data in Smartsheet.
- Support benchmarking reporting and contribute to the development of CLEAResult’s digital infrastructure.
What you bring
- Strong data manipulation and formatting skills with a focus on consistency and detail.
- Experience analyzing large, complex data sets.
- Comfort working with statistical software and templates.
- Proficiency in Visual Basic and advanced Excel formulas.
- Experience with Smartsheet.
- SharePoint experience.
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working across internal teams and occasionally with external clients and customers.
- Energy industry experience is preferred but not required.
