Software Resources, Inc. is hiring a Senior Business Data Analyst for LFI Data Governance in a hybrid role in Phoenix, AZ.

Use SQL to query and analyze data; lead the design, build, and ongoing maintenance of advanced dashboards and reporting tools for key business performance metrics while upholding data and reporting standards.
Ensure reporting consistency and compliance across projects by aligning deliverables with data governance and reporting expectations.
Identify automation opportunities using available technology to create efficient and effective data processes.
Perform deep-dive analysis on large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.
Spot trends, patterns, and anomalies; provide data-based recommendations to support operational improvements and strategy.
Translate business unit reporting and analytical needs into analytical tasks that enable strategic decision-making.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
Design and implement validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborate with IT teams to enhance data infrastructure and improve data accessibility.
Develop business requirements for LFI Regulatory Reporting, including changes required by FRB regulations for a Category III institution.
Problem-solve around requirements, defects, and data validation issues.
Execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to confirm the accuracy and integrity of data.
Lead and support junior staff; take an active leadership role in developing the team.

5+ years of experience in Data Analytics & Data Management or a similar field.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required).
Intermediate to advanced experience with data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel, plus data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau, with a focus on presenting insights clearly and in an actionable way.
Experience with increasing responsibility in regulatory reporting (preferred).
Working knowledge of Reg YY and related regulatory reporting (preferred).
Experience with project management, including managing multiple priorities and deliverables.
Predictive modeling, statistical analysis, or machine learning experience (preferred).
Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, and industry standards and practices.
Intermediate communication skills (speaking and writing).
