SOSi seeks a Senior Data Scientist to support a US government client onsite in Chantilly, Virginia. The role centers on applying advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning to cyber related data, in collaboration with cyber subject matter experts to develop AI/ML analytics solutions.

Location and Compensation

Location: Chantilly, VA (onsite)

Salary: USD 102,414 - 212,706 per year

Minimum experience: 3 years

Education: STEM degree

Responsibilities

Provide analytic support for a US government client based in Chantilly, VA.
Apply advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques to cyber related data to identify patterns and insights.
Collaborate with cyber SMEs to develop AI and ML analytics that address client challenges.

Requirements

Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship required. Candidates will not be nominated for new clearances.
3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a STEM degree in fields such as computer science, statistics, data analytics, computer engineering, mathematics, etc.
Programming proficiency in Python or a similar language.
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience working with cyber data, including examples such as Shodan, Censys.IO.
Proven ability to clean, manage, optimize performance, and process large volumes of unstructured text data.
