Senior Project Data Analyst KYC Modernization

Senior Project Data Analyst for Citi's KYC Modernization program, owning the Daily Execution Dashboard and analytics to identify blockers and forecast delays; onsite in Jacksonville, FL, with a salary range of USD 113,840 - 170,760 per year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the Epic-Driven Daily Execution Dashboard, ensuring Jira and Zephyr data are accurately reflected in a single pane of glass and preparing dashboards for senior executives to support decision making.
• Prepare the dashboard for the 3x weekly Execution War Room, highlighting critical blockers, at-risk capabilities, and negative trends before meetings.
• Automate data pulls and visualizations to minimize manual report creation and maximize time spent on analysis.
• Track sprint-on-sprint performance, including story point completion, defect resolution rates, and build-breaking bug trends.
• Analyze the flow of Epics across the full lifecycle (Dev SIT UAT Done) to identify where capabilities are slowing down or getting stuck.
• Develop predictive metrics to forecast potential sprint spillover or milestone delays before they become critical.
• Go beyond reporting that an Epic is blocked by using Jira data to identify the specific dependency, the owner of the blocking task, and the aging of the issue.
• Analyze defect trends to identify systemic quality issues, such as a specific POD generating many bugs or a recurring type of integration failure.
• Provide the so-what behind the numbers with clear, actionable recommendations to the Initiative Manager, such as assigning a dedicated engineer to unblock dependent stories.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and POD owners to keep the Jira plan high quality, with clear dependencies, a defined critical path, and accurate capability prioritization (Non-Negotiable, High, Medium).
• Ensure all Zephyr test cases are correctly linked to their parent Jira Epics for end-to-end lifecycle visibility.
• Act as the Execution Office subject matter expert for JQL, supporting the build and refinement of queries powering dashboards and reports.
• Provide quantitative data and analytics for the monthly Steering Committee and other senior leadership briefings.
• Translate complex delivery metrics into clear, executive-friendly visuals and summaries.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of experience in data analysis, project management, or a PMO role on a large-scale technology transformation program.
• Jira Expertise (Non-Negotiable): Expert-level proficiency with Jira, including building complex dashboards, writing advanced JQL queries, and structuring projects with Epics, stories, and dependencies. Experience with Jira macros in Confluence is a strong plus.
• Data Analysis & Visualization: Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and present findings clearly. Experience with Excel, Tableau, or Power BI is highly desirable.
• Agile/Scrum Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies, including story points, velocity, and sprint ceremonies.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Proactive problem-solver who goes beyond reporting numbers to understand the underlying causes and recommends concrete actions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical, executive audience.
• Experience with Testing Tools (Preferred): Familiarity with Zephyr and linking test execution status back to development work items; AI experience is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
