Job Description

Canon U.S.A., Inc. is hiring an AI Operations & Data Analyst to support Field Service operations with measurable improvements to machine learning models and automated workflows. This hybrid role focuses on developing and validating AI-enabled data pipelines, monitoring model performance and reliability, and translating complex results into clear dashboards for executive stakeholders.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver standard reports and data visualizations by required deadlines with consistent and reliable accuracy.
  • Develop and implement AI solutions that automate and improve the efficiency of analyses of large confidential data files to support company goals and objectives.
  • Audit and validate AI-generated outputs, including LLM summaries, automated customer updates, and predictive models, to reduce hallucinations and ensure operational accuracy.
  • Track real-time reliability, bias mitigation, and accuracy metrics for deployed operational AI models.
  • Convert ambiguous business challenges into structured data workflows, automation pipelines, and measurable KPIs.
  • Design intuitive Tableau and Power BI dashboards and turn complex AI findings into executive-ready narratives.
  • Create data summaries and visualizations, with the ability to present results through multiple formats such as presentations, interactive platforms, and reporting.
  • Partner with engineering teams to scope, test, and deploy high-impact workflow automation.
  • Develop advanced AI capabilities focused on data collection, consolidation, and analysis of real-world service operations data, with an emphasis on Field Service to produce actionable insights.
  • Support development of data visualization solutions and training so key stakeholders can use the tools to drive improvements.

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience) plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, operations analytics, or chain, or print management operations.
  • Familiarity with AWS ecosystem cloud platforms and LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise accounts or client-facing delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charts, graphs, and complex formulas.
  • High attention to detail with a consistent focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to work overtime as required, particularly during monthly reporting for management meetings.
  • Preferred: education/experience in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, Finance or similar disciplines; additional analytic experience; product/solutions sales experience.
  • Helpful: Microsoft Access (or similar database skills); Salesforce.com and Oracle; Power BI, Tableau, Domo, or other reporting packages.

Compensation and work schedule

  • Location: Melville, NY (hybrid)
  • Salary: USD 69,300 - 103,770 per year
  • Work style: Full time with a hybrid schedule, in office three days per week and the option to work from home the remainder, unless business needs require additional in-office attendance.
