Business Data Analyst -Project Delivery Senior Analyst - AI & Engineering

The Business Data Analyst - Project Delivery Senior Analyst with a focus on AI and Engineering is based onsite in Miami, FL. This role involves capturing analytics requirements, delivering agile data work, and supporting BI and reporting on client projects at Deloitte.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to capture analytics needs, clarify scope, define assumptions, and document problem statements and success metrics.
• Translate requirements into Agile/SAFe artifacts, including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and sprint-ready backlog items; support sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination.
• Provide ad hoc analyses and rapid reporting to yield directional insights; develop lightweight dashboards using Tableau or Power BI when appropriate; work with BI and reporting developers to scale high-usage reports.
• Support recurring analyses and reports (monthly, biweekly, weekly as applicable): define requirements, validate outputs with stakeholders, and maintain runbooks.
• Coordinate and support UAT and release/change activities, including dependency tracking, risk and issue management, and stakeholder communications in alignment with client governance processes.
• Maintain regular communication with Engagement Managers, project teams, and representatives from various functional and technical groups, escalating matters as needed for engagement management review.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in analytics with strong data skills, including the ability to frame ambiguous questions, SQL proficiency for querying and validating datasets, and advanced Excel usage.
• 4+ years of experience with BI tooling, hands-on with Tableau and/or Power BI to build or enhance reports and dashboards; solid understanding of metrics, KPI definitions, and dashboard usability.
• 4+ years of experience in structured storytelling using PowerPoint presentations.
• 4+ years of familiarity with the Snowflake data platform.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel up to 10 percent, depending on the work and client assignments.
