Data Analyst
Job Description
Data Analyst role for Cherokee Federal CNDS in support of the Narcotics and Transnational Crime Support Center within the Knowledge Management and Information Management Cell in Arlington, VA; active TS/SCI clearance and experience in knowledge management, information sharing, and DoD CTOC/CD/CTF enterprise activities are required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and integrate DASD CNSP CTOC/CD/CTF enterprise efforts to locate, collect, and disseminate knowledge, information, and data that help identify, expose, and disrupt illicit activities such as drug trafficking and money laundering.
- Assist in elevating awareness of available knowledge and data to improve visibility of DoD support to U.S., FVEY, LE, and IA operations and activities.
- Promote and enable holistic information sharing and collaboration across the DASD CNSP CTOC/CD/CTF enterprise.
- Engage in ongoing outreach to DoD, interagency and law enforcement partners, academia, and the private-public sector to advance knowledge management; establish and maintain rapport with all CNSP CTOC/CD/CTF components and sub-components; coordinate with KIC Program Analysts when working with their designated components.
- Collaborate with KIC counterparts and the DASD CNSP enterprise to identify, collect, consolidate, and validate knowledge, information, and data requirements; assist in discovering, reviewing, identifying, and testing solutions for those requirements.
- Maintain and update data in the C2IE CN and CTF Activity Manager; coordinate with the DASD CNSP office and CTOC/CD/CTF components for inputting data for reporting requirements; provide training and best practices to the DASD CNSP CTOC/CD/CTF enterprise community.
- Manage and update the Knowledge, Information, and Data SharePoint site as needed.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to CTOC/CD/CTF challenges; consult USG, IC, DoD, industry, and academic experts to incorporate best practices from both private and government sectors.
- Support DASD CNSP Knowledge and Information Management efforts to enhance situational awareness and transparency of DoD CTOC/CD/CTF support to law enforcement partners and interagency operations.
- Assist the DASD CNSP IMWG in promoting knowledge management and information leveling to improve situational awareness and transparency regarding DoD support to U.S., FVEY, LE, and IA operations.
- Assist the DASD CNSP PMWG and its seven sub-groups in identifying and evaluating solutions for a common metrics reporting system; help measure the effectiveness of CD funded intelligence analysis and capabilities and their alignment with national and defense priorities.
- Support the DASD CNSP Tech WG in assessing mission requirements, identifying technology solutions, providing feedback on trials and demos, and tracking the development and deployment of the technology solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; graduate degree is preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of experience demonstrating analytical and problem-solving skills; planning and organizational abilities to meet deadlines while managing conflicting priorities.
- Professional communication and writing skills; ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences; strong presentation and facilitation capabilities; solid interpersonal communication.
- Knowledge of the DoD Counterdrug community and related data, information, and knowledge programs; experience as a Knowledge Manager in the DoD Counterdrug community; understanding of DoD Counterdrug strategies, authorities, doctrine, and priorities; experience with Microsoft 365; knowledge of Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE).
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- U.S. Citizenship; must pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications.

Compensation
Estimated starting salary range for Information Management Specialist is pay commensurate with experience.
