Job Description

The Data Analyst role focuses on data analysis, modeling, dashboards, and reporting to support enterprise systems and mission-critical programs. It requires an active SECRET clearance and is an on-site position based in Fairview Heights, IL, with compensation in the USD 77,000 to 129,000 per year range.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver data analysis, data management, and reporting support for enterprise systems and mission-critical programs.
  • Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and analytical solutions aligned with business and operational needs.
  • Examine large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with applications, database, and business teams to enable data driven decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as data dictionaries, transformation logic, and reporting procedures in line with contract expectations.
  • Offer ad hoc data analysis and reporting support to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Lead data-related troubleshooting and root cause analysis for data discrepancies and reporting issues.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Assess and implement modern data tools, analytics platforms, and automation capabilities.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance recognized by federal or DoD.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Three or more years of relevant data analysis or data management experience at a senior technical level.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases, data analysis tools such as Python or R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Onsite work five days per week.
