Data Analytics Engineer III

Deloitte seeks a Data Analytics Engineer III for its Government & Public Services practice in Arlington, VA, on a contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Gather, process, analyze, and report data to address complex ad hoc inquiries about talent management and workforce dynamics
• Develop concise, executive‑ready visualizations and PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Support Deloitte and client teams in refining data development, collection, analysis, and reporting workflows using databases, spreadsheets, and SQL queries
• Collaborate with federal government product owners to elicit, refine, and prioritize technical requirements for web applications and tools
• Create test scripts and assist with user acceptance testing to verify functionality, usability, and alignment with business requirements
• Contribute to data‑driven decision making by ensuring data accuracy, quality, and clear interpretation of workforce and talent information

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data analytics
• At least 1 year of hands‑on Excel experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to be on site 100 percent of the time in Washington, DC
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
