Job Description
Deloitte seeks a Data Analytics Engineer III for its Government & Public Services practice in Arlington, VA, on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Gather, process, analyze, and report data to address complex ad hoc inquiries about talent management and workforce dynamics
- Develop concise, executive‑ready visualizations and PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Support Deloitte and client teams in refining data development, collection, analysis, and reporting workflows using databases, spreadsheets, and SQL queries
- Collaborate with federal government product owners to elicit, refine, and prioritize technical requirements for web applications and tools
- Create test scripts and assist with user acceptance testing to verify functionality, usability, and alignment with business requirements
- Contribute to data‑driven decision making by ensuring data accuracy, quality, and clear interpretation of workforce and talent information
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data analytics
- At least 1 year of hands‑on Excel experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Ability to be on site 100 percent of the time in Washington, DC
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
