Job Description
Data Engineer III at JPMorganChase is based onsite in Jersey City, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Participates in the review of controls to safeguard enterprise data.
- Advises and implements tailored configuration changes in one to two tools to deliver a product for business or customer requests.
- Updates logical and physical data models to reflect new use cases.
- Regularly writes SQL and has familiarity with NoSQL databases and their market niche.
- Contributes to a team culture focused on diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements
- Five plus years of experience in data engineering and ETL use cases.
- Experience across the data lifecycle.
- Advanced SQL skills, including joins and aggregations.
- Working understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Significant experience with statistical data analysis and the ability to select appropriate tools and data patterns for analysis.
- Experience configuring changes in a tool to generate a product.
